OF CAMPANIA STORIES

THE SPECIALIZED DISCOVERY PRESS

OF THE NEW VINTAGES

AND OF THE REGION’S TERRITORIES INAUGURATION

AT THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF POMPEI

88 wineries are the protagonists of the 2021 edition of “Campania Stories”, an event dedicated to the national and international specialized press gathered every year in the Campania region on occasion of the presentation of the new vintages of the region’s appellations.

Wines and territories will be at the center of the new edition of the event, scheduled from the 30th of August to the 4th of September between two splendid places in the region, namely the Costiera Amalfitana and the Terra degli Dei. Campania Stories, promoted by Miriade & Partners with the participating companies, will celebrate even more this year the synergy between all the components of the wine world: the wineries, the indispensable collaboration of AIS Campania, the support of the Regione Campania, which also this year has included the review in the list of trade fairs and promotional events in which it officially participates, the media partnership of Luciano Pignataro Wine Blog and the collaboration of the Vita Salernum Vites Consortium.

The 2021 edition of Campania Stories will see the Campus Principe di Napoli in Agerola (Naples) as the heart of the event, home to the high-level training course in the field of catering directed by Heinz Beck, executive chef of the Three Michelin Star La Pergola restaurant in Rome. ,also present in one of the moments of Campania Stories dedicated to the press. The Agerola Campus will be home to tastings of the new vintages of Campania wines, and from here the visits to wineries and territories of Campania will start. Also this edition, as per tradition, will be inaugurated in a symbolic place of Campania in the world: after the Diocesan Museum Donnaregina Monumental Complex, the Royal Palace of Caserta, Paestum with its archaeological excavations, the Amalfi Coast, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Humanity for the undisputed beauty and uniqueness of its natural landscape, this year Campania Stories will start from the Archaeological Park of Pompei, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The national and international sector press, therefore, will have the opportunity to taste the new vintages of the main regional appellations and, at the same time, discover the territories in a unique way, through visits to the cellar and to the wine-growing areas of the region. The traditional Campania Stories Day will not be missing for operators and enthusiasts, which year after year is becoming more and more successful with attendance from every region of Italy.

Campania Stories will continue to provide the sector press, operators throughout Italy and consumers with technical content and updates on supply chain production data, as well as on the evaluation of the vintages of white and red wines of the last twenty years expressed in twentieths, relative to the average qualitative and general evolutionary potential, accompanied by key words attributable to the specific climatic and expressive character, as well as indications on the recommended consumption windows for each vintage.
